FINANCE OFFICER
Finance Officers opgelet, heb jij diepgaande kennis en ervaring met SAP + month-end experience? Currently I`m recruiting a Finance Officer for the Benelux operation as part of a broader finance restructering across the UK and Benelux. The role replaces a long local finance structure. You`ll report into a UK-based Finance Manager. Forming part of a more centralised and controlled finance model. Deliver clean, reliable month-end close with minimal UK intervention, full ownership of transactional finance in Benelux, strong working relationship with UK Finance team, improved visibility and control of local financial processes, smooth support of warehouse closure and transition to Italy supply model.
FUNCTIE INDICATIE
- Salaris tussen € 40.000 – € 55.000 (afhankelijk van ervaring endergelijke);
- 32 uur tot 40 uur per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Operations, Manage day-to-day finance activities including: Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable, Bank reconciliations, expense processing, Credit Control, purchase orders and ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions within SAP (or equivalent ERP);
- Month-end & Reporting, Support month-end close process: Accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L review support, prepare and submit local financial reports to UK Finance Manager, assist in variance analysis and performance tracking, support annual forecasting and budgeting;
- Compliance & Governance, Ensure compliance with Dutch financial regulations and company policies, support VAT returns and local statutory requirements, maintain accurate audit trails and documentation, assist with external audits and group reporting requirements.
- Payroll & Administration support, Coordinate with external payroll providers, support employee expense and benefits administration, maintain finance-related HR records where required
- Business Support, Act as a local finance contact for the Benelux commercial team, support sales teams with: sales reporting, customer account queries, credit limits and payment issues, contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
Wie zoeken wij
- Afgeronde MBO/ MBO+ opleiding in Finance Accounting of Business Administration;
- 2 tot 5 jaar werkervaring in soortgelijke (inter)nationale rol en finance werkzaamheden;
- Solide basis accounting skills en vaardigheden en kennis;
- Je bent comfortabel met diverse ERP systemen (SAP geniet daarbij de voorkeur);
- Je bent detail-georiënteerd en proces gedreven;.
- Je bent pragmatisch and hands-on, hoog eigenaarschap;
- Je kunt tegen een dynamische adhoc omgeving;
- Je kunt structuur aanbrengen zonder zaken te compliceren;
- Excel kennis en ervaring;
- Gedetailleerd kunnen werken en accuraat;
- Zelfstandig maar ook in teamverband kunnen werken;
- Nederlands en Engelse taal jezelf verstaanbaar kunnen maken, verbaal en schriftelijk;

- Tot 4.250 bruto per maand o.b.v. een fulltime dienstverband exclusief gebruikelijke emolumenten zoals 8% vakantiegeld endergelijke.
